IV National Forum of Azerbaijani Children
Children are the future of our society. Our main goals are to create a carefree life for children, make sure that the children receive high-level education, training and health, grow up physically and mentally healthy in a supportive social environment. The emergence of our children as well-rounded individuals and responsible citizens of the country is the leading direction of the child policy of the independent Republic of Azerbaijan.
In 1998, the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the Rights of the Child was adopted. It includes the main provisions of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. In this regard, the national legislation and regulations have been regularly updated. Many state programs have been implemented to protect children's rights and ensure that they grow up as people with a broad outlook and with a healthy spirit.
