A conference was held to discuss the military provocations committed by Armenia along the border with Azerbaijan.

On July 21, 2020, the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs organized an online conference in response to the call of the First Vice President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva on military provocations committed by Armenia in the direction of Tovuz region of the Azerbaijani-Armenian border.  

 Speaking about Armenia's military provocations in the direction of Tovuz region, the Chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs  Mrs.Bahar Muradova assessed these events as one more example of aggressive actions of the neighboring country against Azerbaijan.

She noted that Armenia's provocation violating the principles of international law, ignoring the decisions of international organizations was duly responded to, and the Azerbaijani army led by the Supreme Commander took all necessary steps in this direction

She also highlighted that Armenia's aggressive policy is already clearly defined in many international documents. Because it is no longer possible to protect the aggressor. As a result of its actions, Armenia has become the object of serious criticism in the international arena. All this allows us to say with confidence that we will definitely win this military, diplomatic and information war and liberate our territories from occupation.

Addressing the nation in connection with military provocations committed by Armenia, First Vice President of Azerbaijan Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva urged citizens not to allow information sabotage against our country, regardless of political situation, ethnic or religious belonging, she stressed the importance of everyone to protect Azerbaijan's position, support the policy pursued by the President, bring the truth of Karabakh realities to the world.

The Chairperson of the Parliamentary Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, MP  Hijran Huseynova, MPs Agia Nakhchivanli and Jala Aliyeva, Deputy Head of Baku City Executive Power Fiduma Huseynova, the Chairperson of the Board of the Azerbaijan Women Entrepreneurship Development Association Sakina Babayeva, Professor Rena Mirzazade, Director of Baku Book Center Gunel Anar, daughter of national hero Gultekin Askerova attended the conference.

It should be noted that immediately after these events the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs published a statement in Azerbaijani, English and Russian on military provocation committed by Armenian armed forces towards Tovuz district and placed it in social networks and mass media.
