The State Committee for Family/,Women and Children  Affairs permanenmtly carries out  in the cities and regions of Azerbaijan different projects focused on drawing attention of society to family issues, reproductive health, propaganda of healthy life style and etc. 

With the purpose of  continuation of these projects and implementation provisions 4.3.7, 4.4.30, 4.4.34  of the “ State Program  on  Counterwork drug abuse and illegal trafficking of narcotic and psychotropic substances and their  precursors ” (2012-2018), approved by Decree 2966 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on 24 June of 2013  the Committee has started a new large scale awareness raising project under the titile “ I’m choosing the life!”. The next event within the project was held in Republic Children Resort and Health  Center under the Ministry of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Azerbaijan with the participation of teenagers of  13-15 years old on 9 August  of  2016 .

Consequences of harmfull habbits, healthy life style, reproductive health and other topics were dicussed on the event. Besides  during the event the teenagers and representatives of youth worked in groups and prepared presentations on the harmfull consequences of narcotics,  demonstrating  their knowledge  .

 At the end of the event the published material prepared by the Committee was represented to participants.

The awareness raising project “I’m choosing the life!” will be continued in other cities and regions of Azerbaijan.
