Mrs. Bahar Muradova, Chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, made a statemen on  ensuring gender equality in 2020 at the plenary session of the autumn session of the Milli Majlis on December 27, 2021.

According to Article 20 of the Law on Guarantees of Gender Equality, the information covering the activities for 2020 was presented in 4 main areas:

The main directions of the state policy on ensuring gender equality; Responsibilities of the state in ensuring gender equality; Ensuring gender equality by areas; Measures to be taken to ensure gender equality in Azerbaijan.

The report was discussed after hearing and adopted by a majority of votes.
