Visit to the Khachmaz Women's Resource Center
On November 14, 2022, Mrs. Bahar Muradova, Chair of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, Mr. Elnur Rzayev, Khachmaz District Executive Head, and Mrs. Sevil Mikayilova, MP, got acquainted with the activities of the Women's Resource Center (WRC) located in Khachmaz District.
Within the framework of the meeting, information was given on the services provided to women in the direction of increasing their skills, expanding their entrepreneurial activities, and the upcoming tasks.
It was noted that the center organized training on business development, financial literacy, SMM, and at the same time provided psychological and legal support services to victims of gender-based violence.
Evaluating Women's Resource Centers as a platform that contributes to women's networking, Mrs.Bahar Muradova said that Khachmaz WRC also successfully continues its activities in the direction of implementing events and projects aimed at women from vulnerable groups, as well as supporting the increase of their employment, knowledge and skills.
It should be noted that the purpose of establishing the Khachmaz Women's Resource Center, which was created within the framework of the project jointly implemented by the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, the United Nations Development Program and USAID, is to develop the skills of women in the business field and increase their competitiveness in the labor market, as well as empowering and supporting the elimination of social and economic difficulties faced by women.
