Awarding ceremony of "ITi Zaka" contest

Awarding ceremony of "ITi Zaka" children's hackathon organized by the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs and the State Agency for Civil Services and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held on December 13, 2022.

The Chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children  Affairs, Bahar Muradova, welcomed the participants and wished them success.

During her speech, she emphasized that the victory we won two years ago with the strength of our army and the support of our people is a very serious step towards restoring the rights of families, especially children, who suffered from the conflict during these years. At the end of her speech, she congratulated all the children who participated in the contest. 

Jeyhun Salmanov, Deputy Chair of the State Agency for Citizen Service and Social Innovation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, stressed the importance of digital knowledge in this era and said that holding such hackathons supports the development of children in the field of technology. Drawing attention to the importance of the contest, Deputy Minister of Science and Education Firudin Gurbanov expressed confidence that children participating in the hackathon will play an important role in the successful development of our country.

He also emphasized that the future of the country depends on human capital and the representatives of the younger generation must be ready for all the challenges that await Azerbaijan in the future: "I believe that the children who participated in the hackathon today will actively participate in the construction works and innovative projects being implemented in Karabakh".

At the end of the contest the awarding ceremony was held.
 Prepared projects were evaluated by the jury and three teams-winners were determined.
Thus, the team "NN Edu" took first place, the team of Heydar Aliyev Lyceum second, and the team "Intellect" took third place.
