Delegation of Azerbaijan is on visit to Geneva
The fifth and sixth joint periodic report of the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child will be presented at the 92nd session of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child to be held in Geneva on January 23-24, 2023.
For this purpose, a preparatory meeting of the Azerbaijani delegation was held at the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the UN Office.
The meeting was also attended by Galib Israfilov, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the UN Office in Geneva and representatives of other international organisations.
The Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan was represented by a high-level delegation headed by Mrs. Bahar Muradova, Chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children's Affairs.
It should be noted that the delegation included the following state institutions: General Prosecutor's Office, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Science and Education, Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Agriculture, State Statistics Committee, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, State Migration Service, Ministry of Compulsory Health Insurance, etc.
